Year 2 is glowing 

Our IPC Light Unit is officially underway, and it’s been a week of brilliant discoveries! 

This week, our young scientists and historians explored:

•  The Science of Light: From the 24-hour day cycle to why we have different time zones and seasons.
   

•  Local Tracking: We’ve been using Belgian weather data to predict our own sunrise and sunset times!
   

• Mastering the Glow: We looked at how legendary artists "captured" light. We compared Monet’s bright, shimmering sunrises with Rembrandt’s moody, dramatic shadows.
   

From the rotation of the Earth to the stroke of a paintbrush, our students are seeing the world in a whole new light!
