Our Year 5 students are diving into their IPC unit “Express Yourself,” where they are discovering that self-expression can take many forms — through art, music, movement, and creativity. They’ve been exploring how artists and musicians communicate emotions, ideas, and stories in different ways, and how we, too, can share who we are through the things we create.

We visited the Musical Instruments Museum in Brussels, where we had a fantastic time discovering instruments from all around the world! We listened to their beautiful and unique sounds, learned about their history, and even got to play some of them ourselves — an excellent opportunity to express our own creativity through music. What a fun and inspiring day!
